What this does
The Payout report shows when Atlas transfers money to your bank account, how much you’re paid after commissions, and whether payouts succeeded or failed. Use this to verify that all sales are being settled, audit what you’re being charged, and troubleshoot missing payments.New to Atlas reports? Payout report showing sales reconciliation and completed payouts
When to use this
Use this report to answer:- When will I receive my payout? (Payout status and “Paid out at” date)
- How much money am I getting after fees? (Net payment vs. Total commission)
- Why is my payout less than expected? (Payment discrepancy section)
- Where did a payout get stuck? (Pending and Failed payout statuses)
- What commission was I charged? (Total commission metric and breakdown)
- Do my sales match my payouts? (Sales to payout reconciliation tab)
Filters
The Payout report has two tabs with different filters:Sales to payout reconciliation tab
- Serving date: The date range of sales being reconciled. Defaults to “in the past 1 complete weeks”. “Complete weeks” means full 7-day weeks that have already passed (e.g., Monday–Sunday). Change to “between” for exact custom dates.
If your payout cycle is weekly, use “in the past 1 complete weeks” to see last week’s settlement. For bi-weekly payouts, use “in the past 2 complete weeks”.
Payouts to transaction reconciliation tab
-
Paid out at: Filter by the date the payout was transferred to your account. Defaults to “in the past 7 days”.
- Common operators: “in the past” (last N days/weeks/months), “between” (custom range), “on the day” (specific date)
- Example: “in the past 30 days” shows all payouts from the last month
- Use “is any time” when troubleshooting missing payouts from older periods
“Paid out at” is when the money left Atlas, not when it appears in your bank. Bank clearing can add 1-2 business days. -
Payout window start: Filter by when the sales period began (not when you got paid). Defaults to “anytime”.
- Use this to find payouts for specific service dates
- Example: To find the payout for December 29th sales, filter “Payout window start” to “Dec 29, 2025”
Sales from Dec 29 might be paid out on Dec 31 or Jan 2. Use “Payout window start” to track by sales date, “Paid out at” to track by payment date. -
Payment method (hidden by default, click ”+ 2” to reveal): Shows which outlet or bank account received the payout. Defaults to “is any value” (all recipients).
- Note: This field currently shows outlet names (e.g., “Casa Vostra Raffles City”), not payment types like “Bank Transfer”
-
Payout status (hidden by default): Filter by settlement status. Defaults to “Succeeded” only.
- Succeeded: Money has been transferred to your account and should be visible in your bank within 1-2 business days
- Pending: Payout is being processed (standard: 1-3 business days). Money has not left Atlas yet.
- Skipped: Payout was not processed. Common reasons: zero sales in window, amount below minimum threshold, account under review.
- Failed: Transfer was attempted but rejected by your bank. Check bank account details in Settings or contact support.
The default filter hides Pending, Skipped, and Failed payouts. If troubleshooting missing money, uncheck “Succeeded” and check all statuses.
Reports run on your account timezone. The timezone is shown in the three-dot menu under “Query info”.
Summary metrics
These metrics appear in the left sidebar on both tabs and reflect the payouts matching your current filters:-
Payouts count: Total number of payout batches in the selected period. One payout can include sales from multiple hours or outlets.
- Example: “52 payouts” means 52 separate transfers to your bank account
-
Net payment: Total money paid out to your account after refunds and adjustments, before commission is deducted.
- Formula: Gross sales - Refunds - Adjustments
- Example: $525,534.30 in net payment across all payouts
-
Total commission: Sum of all fees deducted by Atlas from your net payment in this period.
- Example: $11,655.28 in total commission
- Use this to audit what you’re being charged
Contact support to clarify whether Total commission includes only Atlas commission or also payment processor fees. -
Average commission: Mean commission percentage per payout.
- Formula: (Total commission ÷ Net payment) × 100
- Example: 2.03% average commission
- Empty if no payouts exist in the selected period
-
Transfer amount: The actual money deposited to your bank account.
- Formula: Net payment - Total commission
- Example: $525,534.30 - $11,655.28 = $513,879.02
- This is what you’ll see in your bank statement
Sales to payout reconciliation
This tab reconciles your sales with payouts received (accounting audit view). Use this to confirm all sales have been accounted for in your bank transfers.Sales payout breakdown
This section shows how your sales translate to actual money in your bank account. Metrics are displayed in a flow from top to bottom:-
Expected payment (subtitle: “Recorded sales for this period”): The gross sales revenue Atlas recorded for the selected period.
- This is the total from your POS before any deductions
- Should match your Sales Report gross sales for the same date range
-
Payment discrepancy (subtitle: “Minus refunds and adjustments”): Deductions from expected payment.
- Includes: refunds issued to customers, chargebacks, dispute adjustments, order corrections
- Example: If you had $1,000 in sales but $50 in refunds, payment discrepancy is $50
-
Net payment (Manual) (subtitle: “Not processed by Atlas”): Payments you collected outside Atlas.
- Examples: cash tips not entered into Atlas, third-party delivery fees collected directly
- Atlas does not transfer this money (you already have it)
-
Net payment (Integrated) (subtitle: “To be paid out by Atlas”): Amount that Atlas will automatically transfer to your bank.
- This is what you’re waiting for
- Formula: Expected payment - Payment discrepancy - Net payment (Manual)
-
Already paid out (subtitle: “All payouts”): Total you’ve already received in your bank account from Atlas.
- Only includes payouts with “Succeeded” status
- Check your bank statement to verify these amounts arrived
-
Pending payout (subtitle: “Payouts still processing”): Amount Atlas is currently transferring but hasn’t reached your bank yet.
- Standard processing time: 1-3 business days
- Will move to “Already paid out” when the bank clears the transfer
Reconciliation check: Expected payment - Payment discrepancy should equal Net payment (Manual) + Net payment (Integrated). And Net payment (Integrated) should equal Already paid out + Pending payout. If these don’t match, contact support with the date range and screenshot.
Completed payouts table
Lists all payouts that have been completed in the selected period. Columns include:-
Window start: Date and time when the payout window began (when sales started being aggregated for this payout).
- Example: “Dec 29, 2025, 03:00AM”
- This is usually midnight (12:00 AM) but can be customized per outlet
-
Window end: Date and time when the payout window closed (when sales stopped being aggregated).
- Example: “Dec 30, 2025, 02:59AM”
- Usually 11:59 PM, or 1 minute before the next window starts
-
Paid out at: Date and time when Atlas transferred money to your bank account.
- Example: “Jan 2, 2026, 04:50AM”
- Your bank may take 1-2 additional business days to show the deposit
“Window start/end” and “Paid out at” are always different dates. A settlement lag of 1-7 days is normal. If “Paid out at” is more than 7 days after “Window end”, contact support with the Payout ID. -
Payment method: Shows which outlet or bank account received the payout.
- Note: This field currently displays outlet names (e.g., “Casa Vostra Raffles City”), not payment types
-
Payout ID: Unique identifier for this payout (e.g., “G3N28565”).
- Use this when contacting support about a specific payout
- Download: Export to CSV (up to 1,000 rows)
- Alert: Set up automated alerts when metrics cross thresholds
- Schedule delivery: Schedule automated report emails
Payouts to transaction reconciliation
This tab shows all individual payout records with their status and timing details. Use this to track specific payouts, verify payment timing, and troubleshoot missing or failed payouts. All payouts table
Lists all payouts matching your filters. Columns include:- Row #: Auto-incrementing row number (1, 2, 3…)
- Payout ID: Unique identifier for this payout (e.g., “G3N28565”, “AYBYAKUY”)
- Payment method: Outlet or restaurant name receiving the payout (e.g., “Temper Wine Room & Lo…”)
- Window start: Start date/time of the sales period (e.g., “Dec 29, 2025, 03:00AM”)
- Window end: End date/time of the sales period (e.g., “Dec 30, 2025, 02:59AM”)
If the “All payouts” table shows “No Results” but you know you received a payout, check your filters. Ensure “Payout status” includes all statuses (not just “Succeeded”) and expand the “Paid out at” date range to at least 30 days.

Payout total doesn't match your POS sales
Payout total doesn't match your POS sales
-
Confirm which metric you’re comparing:
- “Net payment” = Gross sales - Refunds - Adjustments (before commission)
- “Expected payment” (in breakdown) = Gross sales (before any deductions)
- These will not match if you have refunds, adjustments, or commission
- Cross-reference with Sales Report: Go to Sales Report with the same date range and compare Gross sales against Expected payment. These should match if filters are identical.
- Check for pending payouts: Switch to “Sales to payout reconciliation” tab. Look at “Pending payout” in the breakdown. Money may be queued but not yet transferred.
- Verify the date filter: Are you filtering by “Paid out at” (when you got paid) or “Payout window start” (when sales occurred)? Use “Payout window start” to match your sales dates.
-
If still mismatched after checking all the above, contact support at [email protected] with:
- Date range you’re checking
- Expected amount from your POS
- Amount showing in Atlas
- Screenshots of both reports

- Check the “Paid out at” date: When was the payout actually processed? Your bank may take 1-2 additional business days to show the deposit after Atlas sends it.
- For recent payouts (< 3 days old): Contact your bank to check if the transfer is in progress. Provide them with the exact date and amount from the “Paid out at” column.
- Switch to “Sales to payout reconciliation” tab: Check the “Pending payout” section. This shows how much money is waiting to be transferred (not yet in your account).
-
If a payout shows “Failed” status:
- Contact Atlas support immediately with the Payout ID
- Verify your bank account information is correct in Settings
- Ask your bank if they rejected the transfer and why
-

Payout status shows 'Skipped'—what does that mean?
Payout status shows 'Skipped'—what does that mean?
A “Skipped” payout means the payout was not processed at all. This is rare.Common reasons:
- Payout window had zero sales or zero net payment
- Amount was below the minimum payout threshold
- Account settings prevented the payout from processing
- Manual hold placed by Atlas (rare, for disputes or fraud reviews)
- Check the “Payout window start” and “Window end” dates. Use your POS system to verify if you had sales during that period.
-
If you did have sales, contact Atlas support at [email protected] with:
- Payout ID
- Date range of the payout window
- Confirmation that you had sales during that window
- Ask why it was skipped
- Support may need to reprocess manually or adjust account settings.
Commission is higher than expected
Commission is higher than expected
- Check your contract: Confirm the commission % you agreed to (flat rate or tiered based on volume).
-
Calculate manually:
- Formula: (Total commission ÷ Net payment) × 100 = Commission %
- Example: ($11,655.28 ÷ $525,534.30) × 100 = 2.22%
- Compare this to your contract commission rate
- Check if processor fees are included: Contact support to clarify if “Total commission” includes only Atlas commission or also payment processor fees (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
- Check “Payment method”: Some payment methods may have higher fees than others.
