# Optimise menu

> Get data-driven suggestions to improve your menu and remove underperforming items.

## What this does

Use Ask Atlas, Claude, or ChatGPT to analyse sales and margin and suggest which items to remove, reprice, or bundle. This also flags gaps in popular categories.

## When to use this

* Sales are flat and you want fresh ideas
* The menu is too large and confusing
* You want to improve margins
* You are planning a seasonal update

## Steps

**Ask Atlas**

**1. Open Ask Atlas**

Open the Ask Atlas chat in the Atlas Merchant Portal and start a new conversation.

**2. Send the request**

```text Prompt theme={null}
Suggest ways to improve my menu based on sales and margin performance.
```

**Claude**

**1. Open Claude**

Start a new Claude chat and make sure the Atlas connector is turned on.

**2. Paste the prompt**

```text Prompt theme={null}
Suggest ways to improve my menu based on sales and margin performance.
```

**ChatGPT**

**1. Open ChatGPT**

Start a new ChatGPT chat and make sure the Atlas connector is connected.

**2. Paste the prompt**

```text Prompt theme={null}
Suggest ways to improve my menu based on sales and margin performance.
```
