# Manage stock and daily inventory

> Update stock levels and block or unblock items using Ask Atlas, Claude, or ChatGPT.

## What this does

Use Ask Atlas, Claude, or ChatGPT to adjust stock quantities, block out-of-stock items, and alert when counts are low.

## When to use this

* An item runs out during service
* A delivery arrives
* You need to 86 something
* You are prepping for a busy night

## Steps

**Ask Atlas**

**1. Open Ask Atlas**

Open the Ask Atlas chat in the Atlas Merchant Portal and start a new conversation.

**2. Send the request**

```text Prompt theme={null}
Suggest ways to manage stock so I do not run out of popular items during service.
```

**Claude**

**1. Open Claude**

Start a new Claude chat and make sure the Atlas connector is turned on.

**2. Paste the prompt**

```text Prompt theme={null}
Suggest ways to manage stock so I do not run out of popular items during service.
```

**ChatGPT**

**1. Open ChatGPT**

Start a new ChatGPT chat and make sure the Atlas connector is connected.

**2. Paste the prompt**

```text Prompt theme={null}
Suggest ways to manage stock so I do not run out of popular items during service.
```
