# Create email campaigns

> Write and send marketing emails to customer segments with Claude or ChatGPT.

## What this does

Use Claude or ChatGPT with the Atlas MCP connector to draft an email campaign, pick an audience, and send or schedule it. Ask Atlas cannot send emails.

## When to use this

* You want to promote a new menu item
* You want to win back lapsed customers
* You are announcing a holiday offer
* You are launching a loyalty reward

## Steps

>
> Email campaigns need a paid Loyalty subscription and the Customer.io MCP or plugin to be enabled. Ask Atlas cannot send emails — use Claude or ChatGPT with the Atlas MCP connector.

**Claude**

**1. Open Claude**

Start a new Claude chat and make sure the Atlas connector is turned on. The Customer.io MCP or plugin must also be enabled.

**2. Paste the prompt**

Suggest email campaigns I can send to re-engage customers and drive repeat orders.
```

**ChatGPT**

**1. Open ChatGPT**

Start a new ChatGPT chat and make sure the Atlas connector is connected. The Customer.io MCP or plugin must also be enabled.

**2. Paste the prompt**
